 | Current mood:  cheerful Went to the white house today! which was wonderful. The history in that building is amazing. It is beautiful. We came in the East Wing and went into the library and then upstairs to the blue room, red room, green room, state dining room and the east room where bush makes most of his speeches. Took a pic standing in the spot he gives the majority of his speeches. Then since Curt is in a wheelchair we got to take Bush's private elevator up and down! LOL..they said he rides it down every morning on his way to the oval office. I asked if he wears his pj's and the SS guy laughed and said uh, no! He was a great guy. Makes Curt want to be a SS guy now. haha..but we could never live here. To big of a city and too many people and drivers! Gosh, it takes literally 20-30 even 40 minutes to drive 10 miles!! 5 miles from the white house but takes 20 min to get there! ridiculous! anway it was a great day. |
