Fate will decide

So we've been talking to our realtor the past couple of days. Let me just start out by saying I am very grateful for the builder really working hard to make sure we stay with him and that he tried his hardest to let us get this house. Anyway, the realtor said they have had a couple showings at our house and one couple was really interested in making an offer. We said we were fine with that. We gave the go-ahead for the builder to put the house back on the market. Well, it went on today and the couple made an offer within hours. We had to sign a notice saying we agree to let the buyers accept the house. The builder HAS offered to build us the same house (in a different subdivision) in Staffordshire Place in phase 4. It is still in Phenix City, and I do think that is in Lee County which would be even better! He gave us 180 days to select a lot and start building. If we choose not to do so we will forfeit our earnest money of 2 grand (plus 300 for the garbage disposal). We are perfectly okay with this and like the idea that if nothing else pans out for us we still have an offer on the table from the builder. So..whatever happens, happens! We will be okay with either outcome. Be it, we move somewhere else for 2-3 years, then head back to Benning to retire. Or we move back to Benning in the next couple months and start our lives there. Let's see what God has in store for us! :)
